We have received numerous inquiries from around the country regarding the BNSS F200 classes and the possibility of us supplying a promotional package using our new YF200 R1 Yamaha 200cc 4 cycle kart engine. Many track owners are starting to the see the negative effects of the now out of production 5 hp flat head Briggs and are looking to the future and preparing to fill the void. The many advantages of the F200 format are fast becoming a reality and it literally is catching on coast to coast. (Please take a minute and read the F200 Concept and Rules at Speedway-Karting.com and the BNSS’s future plans for F200 at Burris National Speedway Series.com)

To encourage and support the building of F200 racing in these areas we have come up with a promotional package called a Track Pack to help jump start these programs. Distributors, race promoters, clubs and track owners interested in setting up one of these programs will be able to purchase a minimum of six Yamaha YF200 R1 engine kits which will include an RLV exhaust complete w/silencer and mounting brackets and a discount certificate that will allow the purchaser to buy a set of four Burris Tires at a substantially reduced price! One note of interest; these engine kits are fully prepped and need no additional machining and only require finish honing and some minor port grinding before they are ready to assemble. This allows those who have average mechanical abilities to do their own engines if they wish. Or in the case of the engine builders, it cuts processing dramatically from what they were used to with the flat head Briggs by keeping unnecessary machining and prep costs to a minimum.

In case you are not familiar with the YF200 R1 kit, here are few highlights to bring you
up to date. First of all, the kit contains all the pieces necessary (see photo) to build a race ready engine. These are comprised of OEM components like a forged and hardened crankshaft, 71 mm big bore block, big valve cylinder head and ball bearing side cover to name a few. The balance is made up of aftermarket products from suppliers such as Wiseco Pistons, Cometic Gaskets, ARC Rods, K&N Filters, Dyno Cams, Tillotson carbs and more. In addition to the kit the only other items that are needed to get you on the race track is a clutch, mount and chain guard which are the same dimensions as the 5 hp Briggs.

Here’s how to put this together. Get with 6 or more people who are interested in running F200 and approach your track owner, club, promoter or kart shop and have them contact us to set up an F200 program. (We have Jr l, Jr ll, Jr lll and Sr. versions. See the rules and class structure for details.) Once you have the required number (6) signed up have them (track owner, promoter, club) contact us about setting up the purchase. This is a tremendous offer and only will be available for a short time so please act fast.
