The Burris/Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Steel) head
gasket for the Briggs & Stratton Animal* engine is comprised of three
layers of stainless steel. The 2 outer layers are embossed stainless steel
providing a superior seal with excellent rebound characteristics and corrosion
resistance. The reusable Burris/Cometic MLS head gaskets are far advanced over
their OEM counterpart in sealing the deck surfaces of the engine where OEM
gaskets have a tendency to allow warpage and distortion causing leakage because
of high cylinder pressures during use. The Burris/Cometic MLS head gaskets have
been used in multiple variations of 4-cycle Karting engines and are considered
to be far superior to anything else available on the market .

The 2.790 big bore/modified Animal* head gasket is vailable in .040″
thickness only.
